The fit of our clothing depends on the cut, fabric, and style of each garment. Some garments are designed to have a looser, relaxed fit and some garments are styled to be more fitted. Please review our sizing guide to select the size best suited to you.

Alterations services for non-custom order products are sometimes available for those products above ₹ 1,00,000 value. Alterations are not available for products below this value or for products on sale.

If a product is eligible for alterations, you can contact us to discuss the alterations. Alterations will be chargeable, and charges will be shared as per the requirements before your order continues to process. Should you desire alterations to your eligible order product, you must intimate this to us upon placing the order. To do so, email us your alteration requirements to care@houseofkotwara.com including your Order ID, Product Name and / or SKU to be altered.

Our team will assess if the required alteration is possible and accordingly update your alteration as needed. In some cases, required alterations may not be possible. Our team will inform you in such case.

Alterations will only be done for lengths and body fittings. These will not include any change of design or customization.

All products listed on our website are handcrafted using the finest natural fibres and raw materials. The subtle variations in colour, textures and finish are intrinsic to hand-made products. Our products involve craft-based traditions of hand-spinning, dyeing, weaving, wood block printing and embroidery. We use both vegetable dyes and commercial dyes with the goal of minimizing our impact on the environment while striving for the best colour properties. Any damage due to handling of the product by the client or non-employee of House of Kotwara will not be the responsibility or liability of House of Kotwara.

We offer Free Shipping to all serviceable pin codes within India. If our shipping provider is not able to ship to your desired pin code, we will contact you to rearrange a mutually agreeable solution.

For the estimated delivery time will differ with each order, as our products are custom-made.

Typically, we take around 3-4 business days to dispatch orders within India. These delivery timelines are estimates and are non-binding, subject to change.

Our products are handcrafted and made to order in most cases. Depending on the garments design and style it can take anywhere between 2 weeks to 6 months to create some pieces, and more time may be needed in more complicated cases. Please confirm that the total delivery time suits you before placing an order.

Sometimes, delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to, unexpected travel delays from our courier partners due to weather conditions or any political disruptions or strikes or other acts of god or unforeseeable events. We will try our best to keep you updated at every step.

The list price is inclusive of all taxes payable in India on the sale of the products. However, for international shipping, in some cases the customer may have to pay additional import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. We are unable to calculate when and how much these customs duty charges will be levied. In the case where additional customs charges are assessed and applicable, you will be responsible for paying these additional fees. House of Kotwara takes no responsibility for non-delivery of orders in case such taxes and duties are not accepted and settled by the recipient at the delivery address and will not provide any refunds or replacement products in such cases. You further undertake to keep House of Kotwara fully indemnified on account of any default in paying the applicable taxes/custom duty charges which may be levied on House of Kotwara as a result of your default.

Orders cancelled within 1 day from the placement of an order, will receive a full refund with the refund amount being processed to the original method of payment within 5-7 working days. Cancellations requested after this period will be considered to be eligible for store credit at www.houseofkotwara.com, subject to the discretion of House of Kotwara.

A refund is offered only on merchandise sold at maximum retail price. Products bought on discount are considered as final sale and are not eligible for refund or exchange.

In exceptional cases, if a product is unavailable, a refund is issued irrespective of whether product discount was availed.

Products returned should be unused, unworn and in the same condition as you received it with the original packaging and all accessories or extra items included with that product. The products must retain original tags and should not have been tampered with.
