Peshwaz

A Peshwaz is one of the most opulent forms of clothing designed for women in the Mughal court. This garment can be described as a tunic with a fitted bodice attached to a flared skirt caught at the waist. The Peshwaz is also known as an Anarkali. The House of Kotwara Peshwaz is typically worn with a classic wide Pyjama and Dupatta. It can be floor length, or upto 8 inches off the floor. This is an ideal silhouette for wedding celebrations where a Lehenga or Gharara/Sharara would be too excessive.
