Angarkhas

The Angarkha is a traditional wrap around upper garment that evolved in the royal courts of Northern India over the centuries. It can overlap either to the left or the right. House of Kotwara has also interpreted this garment as an embellished coat worn with an inner made of soft fabrics with especially designed decorative ties to fasten it in place. Chikan and Zardozi Angarkhas of varying lengths worn with wide pyjamas have been House of Kotwara’s forte.
